Meeting the Moment
I'm Sam Hunter. I'm 38 years old, and I've lived in Easthampton with my wife since 2013. In 2016, we welcomed the birth of our son, and purchased our first home and only home, right here in town.
For my day job, I'm a state employee. I work for the Department of Developmental Services, the state agency which provides support for children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Prior to that, I worked for Autism Connections, a local autism support center.
I also spent some time teaching and working as a paraprofessional in Guilford, Vermont, and the school districts of Holyoke and Greenfield.
When not deep diving into education policy, I enjoy reading, bike riding, and spending time with my family. My son is very passionate about model trains, and we go to a lot of train shows together!
I have been honored to serve you on school committee since 2022, and I am looking forward to continuing to work for you. Thanks for checking out my site, and please let me know if you have any questions!
