These Terms of Service explain the rules for using the Salwa mobile application. By using Salwa, you agree to these Terms.

Terms summary

Salwa is provided for general Islamic motivation and reflection. Premium features are managed through Apple and RevenueCat. Local app data stays on the user's device, and subscriptions can be managed through the user's Apple account.

1. About Salwa

Salwa is an Islamic motivation and reflection app designed to provide quotes, reminders, themes, widgets, mascots, and other features to support daily reflection and personal growth.

Salwa is intended to provide general motivational and spiritual reminders. It is not a replacement for professional, medical, mental health, religious, legal, financial, or scholarly religious advice.

Some content in Salwa may be inspired by Islamic themes and values. Unless clearly stated, not every quote is a direct quotation from the Qur’an or Hadith.

You agree to use Salwa respectfully and lawfully.

Salwa stores most app preferences locally on your device.

This may include your selected categories, favourite quotes, themes, reminder preferences, streak progress, mascots, widgets, and onboarding choices.

If you delete the app, local app data may be deleted from your device unless restored through your device backup.

4. Premium Features and Subscriptions

Salwa may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Premium features may include, but are not limited to:

All payments are processed through Apple’s App Store payment system.

Subscription prices, billing periods, free trials, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase.

If you subscribe, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, according to Apple’s subscription rules.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.

5. RevenueCat

Salwa uses RevenueCat to help manage premium access, subscriptions, and purchase restoration.

RevenueCat helps the app check whether you have an active subscription or purchase so that premium features can be unlocked correctly.

6. Restore Purchases

If you previously purchased or subscribed to Salwa Premium using the same Apple ID, you can use the Restore Purchases option in the app.

Restore Purchases checks your purchase status through Apple and RevenueCat.

If an active subscription or valid purchase is found, premium access will be restored.

Purchases are generally tied to the Apple ID used at the time of purchase. If you use a different Apple ID, your previous purchase may not be available to restore.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple.

If you want to request a refund, you must do so through Apple’s refund process.

Cancelling a subscription will stop future renewals, but you may continue to access premium features until the end of the current paid subscription period.

8. Notifications

Salwa may ask permission to send notifications.

Notifications may include daily reminders, quote reminders, reflection reminders, or consistency reminders.

You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

9. Content

The quotes and reminders in Salwa are intended for general reflection, motivation, and spiritual encouragement.

We aim to keep content respectful and beneficial, but we do not guarantee that every piece of content will be suitable for every user, belief level, emotional state, or personal situation.

You are responsible for how you use and interpret the content inside the app.

10. Intellectual Property

Salwa, including its design, branding, mascots, themes, app icons, text, visuals, widgets, and other content, belongs to the developer unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or use Salwa’s content or branding without permission.

11. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Salwa available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

We may update, change, add, remove, or limit features at any time.

We may also update premium features over time.

12. No Guarantees

Salwa is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that the app will meet every expectation, solve every problem, or achieve specific personal, spiritual, emotional, religious, or productivity outcomes.

Use of Salwa is your responsibility.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Salwa will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Salwa is intended for a general audience and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

If you are under 13, you should not use Salwa without permission from a parent or guardian.
