Dear Students,
Pranam!
April arrives like a gentle dawn, bringing with it a new academic session filled with promise and possibility. It is a time to renew your aspirations and move forward with clarity of purpose. As we begin this journey together, I invite you to reflect upon a guiding thought: “Roots of Self, Wings of Confidence.”
Every new beginning is an opportunity to rediscover yourself. Self-awareness becomes your compass. As Socrates wisely said, “Know thyself.” Understanding your strengths and recognising areas of growth lays the foundation for meaningful progress and purposeful learning.
Equally important is the virtue of self-respect. It is reflected in the dignity with which you carry yourself and the integrity you show towards others.
Honour your efforts and value your individuality. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Let this remind you that your worth is intrinsic.
From these roots emerge the wings of confidence. True confidence is the courage to move forward despite doubt. As Ralph Waldo Emerson expressed, “Self-trust is the first secret of success.” Approach this year with optimism, participate wholeheartedly, and embrace challenges with resilience.
As Aristotle observed, “Excellence is not an act, but a habit.” Let your daily efforts guide you towards growth.
Wishing you all an inspiring beginning to the academic year 2026–27.
Blessings!
Dr. Sunita Jakhar
Officiating Principal
Where Roots Whisper and Wings Remember the Sky
Ralph Waldo Emerson once observed, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” Echoing this, Rabindranath Tagore wrote, “Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.” These reflections beautifully anchor our theme this month, “Roots of Self, Wings of Confidence.”
The beginning of a new academic session is more than a shift in routine; it is a quiet invitation to rediscover one’s inner strength and purpose. Like a tree grounded by its roots before it reaches for the sky, our learners are encouraged to build self-awareness while nurturing the courage to grow.
The school campus resonates with a vibrant sense of renewal as students return with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a readiness to engage. The opening days are thoughtfully devoted to helping learners reconnect with themselves while nurturing meaningful relationships with peers and mentors. Through interactive opportunities such as assemblies and classroom activities, students are encouraged to express their thoughts, enabling them to reflect and strengthen their self-belief.
These opportunities not only amplify their voices but also deepen their sense of belonging within the school community.
A range of carefully curated activities and collaborative experiences has reinforced an essential life lesson among learners: confidence is not immediate; it is cultivated over time through perseverance, reflection, and the courage to try again.
William Wordsworth reminds us, “Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.” This edition of the newsletter captures those very expressions—authentic, evolving, and full of promise. Each page reflects a journey where identity is shaped and confidence begins to take flight.
As we move ahead, the message remains clear: stay rooted in who you are, yet be fearless in who you can become. With strong roots and growing wings, our learners are ready not only to face the future but to shape it with clarity and purpose.
“Grow through your experiences, and let your confidence carry you forward.”

The sun ascends, a quest anew,
Each day unfolds with something new.
My thoughts, my questions, all my own,
In every doubt, a seed is sown.
A stumble brings a hidden spark,
A moment lost becomes a mark.
Mistakes return with quiet grace,
Each one a lesson we must embrace.
No fear of failure holds me still,
Each slip refines my strength and will.
I learn, I grow, I rise once more,
Each effort opens a brand-new door.
The world’s a guide, so vast and wise,
With learning seen through open eyes.
Each day reveals a truth to me,
A step toward who I’m meant to be.
– D. Aashwika, VI G
Feel the air,
Inhale the magic, everyone.
Born of light and whispered rays,
Shadows vanish in the sun.
Magic ripples through my song,
Bringing joy and making us strong.
Spirits dance within the night,
Turning darkness into light.
Floating wonders buzz like bees,
Secrets carried on the breeze.
Birds may glimpse what others miss,
A world enchanted with quiet bliss.
I hold a secret in my mind,
Soft and gentle as a lullaby.
A spark of wonder lights my way,
As I begin my journey today.
– Aashrita Borgharia, IV E
Sparrows nestle in sunlit trees,
While parrots glide through drifting clouds above.
Pigeons gather below, pecking gently
At offerings scattered by passing hands.
Pink bougainvillea sways in the tender breeze,
And golden blooms of the Amaltas
Dance with quiet grace.
Mangoes fall like soft echoes of summer,
Reflecting the sky’s silent splendour.
The grass stretches, nourished by warmth,
While flowers awaken in colours untold
Beneath an endless azure expanse.
Light deepens, glowing ever brighter
Across the vast and magnificent sky.
