If you have any proposals that are approved but not yet submitted as a manuscript, the P&P Committee and Executive Committee strongly encourage you to focus on completing your manuscript(s) before submitting any new proposals.
Discuss the idea with your Principal Investigator and gain their approval to move forward
For Aim 1 proposals - please make sure to submit a pre-proposal form to the DMC (see smartsheet link below) for guidance on where to present prior to developing the proposal.
Present your proposal idea at a Core/Working Group (WG) meeting. Presentation at the Core/WG and approval from the group will be required as part of the P&P review process.

Open Office Hours: No prior notice is required for these sessions. This is an open meeting for anyone to drop in at any point during the hour to ask questions or discuss challenges you’re facing. This is an opportunity to get quick feedback, troubleshoot issues, or clarify concepts. We will be sending out a calendar invitation shortly for these session.
When: Every Tuesday from 2-3 PM ET
Closed (One-on-One) Office Hours: For more in-depth discussions, you can schedule a private, one-on-one meeting using the Calendly link above. These 30-minute-to-1-hour sessions are for more complex problems or in-depth statistical consultations. When scheduling through Calendly, you will be asked to provide some details about your research question and specific question/problem so Derek can prepare for your discussion. This Calendly link will be included in the Open Office Hours calendar invitation, as well as on your respective project's internal website.
