Terms of Use

By downloading or using Salt Recipes (“Salt”, “the App”, or “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the App.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Service.

1. Use of the App

Salt Recipes is provided as a mobile application with both free features and optional paid subscription tiers.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content, nor may you attempt to extract the source code, reverse engineer, translate, or create derivative works from the App.

All intellectual property rights related to the App, including trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and software, remain the property of Salt Recipes or its licensors.

2. User Accounts

To use Salt Recipes, you must create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Content (Recipes)

Salt Recipes allows you to create, store, and manage recipes by:

• Manually entering recipe information

• Importing recipes from third-party websites or social media platforms

You retain ownership of any recipe content you manually create.

Content imported from third-party sources remains subject to the rights and terms of the original source. By importing content, you confirm that you have the right to store it for personal use.

All recipes are private by default and are not publicly shared through the App.

4. Subscriptions, Purchases & Auto-Renewal

Salt Recipes offers optional paid subscription plans ("Subscriptions") granting access to premium features, enhanced recipe storage, and additional functionality.

• Billing & Payment: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring, periodic basis (e.g., monthly or annually), depending on the billing plan you select at the time of purchase. All payments are processed directly through your Apple ID account and Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store your financial payment details.

• Auto-Renewal: Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.

• Managing and Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your Subscriptions at any time via your device's iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period, and you will not receive a refund for the remaining duration.

• Free Trials: We may offer a free trial period for certain Subscriptions. If offered, you will be informed of the trial duration and terms before initiating it. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial period, the trial will automatically roll into a paid Subscription and your Apple ID account will be charged accordingly.

• Fee Changes: We reserve the right to modify Subscription fees at any time. Any changes in pricing will take effect following reasonable notice to you (provided via the App, email, or Store updates). Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new fee.

• Refunds: All In-App Purchases and Subscription transactions are handled directly by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's standard terms and policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Internet Access and Device Responsibility

Some features of the App require an active internet connection. Salt Recipes is not responsible for the App not functioning fully if you do not have access to the internet or if your data allowance is exceeded.

Any data charges incurred while using the App are your responsibility.

You are also responsible for keeping your device charged and secure. We are not liable if you are unable to access the Service due to device issues.

6. App Updates and Availability

We may update the App from time to time to improve functionality or comply with technical requirements. You agree to accept updates when they are made available.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be compatible with your device or operating system.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

If the App is discontinued, your right to use the App will end, and you must stop using it and delete it from your device.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

While we strive to keep the App reliable and accurate, we make no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salt Recipes shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
