Sashaank Mamidana
Founder, Director & Principal Instructor
Sashaank Mamidana is the founder of Salsa Cafe and brings over a decade of experience teaching, performing, and shaping social dance communities across India and internationally.
His work is rooted in a deep understanding of musicality, body awareness, and connection — helping dancers move beyond steps into presence, confidence, and clarity on the floor. Rather than focusing on choreography alone, Sashaank emphasizes how people learn, connect, and grow through movement.
Trained across Salsa On1 & On2, Bachata, Afro-Cuban movement, and social dance foundations, his teaching blends structure with intuition, allowing dancers to adapt naturally across partners, styles, and spaces.
At the heart of his approach is a belief that great dancing comes from feeling safe, supported, and grounded — when that happens, technique follows effortlessly.
