Salon Booking Confirmation and Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Confirmation
- Immediate Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed immediately upon making a reservation through our online booking system, phone call, or in person at the salon.
- Confirmation Email/Text: A confirmation email or text message will be sent to the provided contact details immediately after booking. This message will include details of the appointment such as date, time, service(s) booked, and the name of the stylist or technician.
- Booking Deposit:A deposit may be required for certain services or high-demand times. This will be communicated at the time of booking, and the deposit will be applied towards the total cost of the service.
2. Pre-Appointment Reminders
- Reminder Notifications: Clients will receive a reminder email or text 24-hours before the scheduled appointment.
3. Late Arrivals
- Grace Period: A 10-15 minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. If the client arrives later than this, the appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a late fee may apply.
- Rescheduling Late Arrivals: If a late arrival affects the salon’s schedule, we may need to reschedule your appointment. We will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.
Salon Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Notice
- Notice Period: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. This can be done through our online booking system, by phone, or in person at the salon.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a late cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost.
2. No-Show Policy
- No-Show Fee: Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice will be charged a no-show fee, which is the full cost of the missed appointment.
- Rebooking After No-Show: Clients who fail to show up for their appointment may be required to pay a deposit for future bookings.
3. Emergency Cancellations
- Exemptions: We understand that emergencies happen. Clients who need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (such as medical emergencies) should contact the salon as soon as possible. The cancellation fee may be waived at the discretion of management.
4. Refunds
- Deposit Refunds: Deposits will be refunded if the appointment is cancelled within the notice period. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows.
- Service Refunds: Refunds for services already rendered will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, focusing on client satisfaction and the nature of the complaint.
