Graduate Student Mentor
I have been a graduate student mentor for the Department of Mathematics since 2021. As a mentor, I collaborate with course coordinators in conducting our annual teaching workshop, where incoming graduate students are allowed to get hands-on training in teaching. One of my main roles has been to provide feedback on their teaching demonstration in the workshop, as well as their actual in-class teaching.
Directed Reading Program
I mentored an undergraduate student for a semester on various topics in analytic number theory. The material we covered was for a first course in analytic number theory.
MATH@CASE Program
From 2020-2022, I volunteered to be a tutor for MATH@CASE program. CASE or Center for Academic Success and Excellence serves underrepresented students at the University of Missouri. I would tutor students on different college-level course on a weekly basis as a part of this program. For my work, I was awarded the Outstanding Community Service Award by my department for two consecutive years.
MU Chapter of the Association for Women in Math and AMS Graduate Student Chapter
I have served in various officer positions for both the AWM and AMS student chapters at the University of Missouri. As an officer, I have been involved in conducting various activities for the Math department, as well as helping interested undergraduate and graduate students connect to the national network of both these organizations.
Undergraduate Research & Creative Achievements Forum
I volunteered to be an abstract evaluator for this forum, where I evaluated abstracts of undergraduate research projects and provided feedback.
