My name is Melania Horani. I was born and raised in Costa Rica and I moved to the United States in 2011. This will be my first year teaching at Loker but I have worked as a Spanish immersion teacher and dual language teacher for the last 14 years in kindergarten, first grade and second grade. i have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  

I live in Marlborough with my husband Tarik, my 2 year old son Julius and our baby girl Amina. We love being outdoors, riding our bikes and spending time together. 

I am very excited to be part of the Wayland Spanish Immersion program and to be working alongside with all of you to support your children. I am very passionate about second language acquisition and teaching Spanish to my students.
