I recently built a procedural and conceptual playbook for the Berkman Klien Center for Internet and Society during the fall of 2023. Berkman Klien Center routinely hosts its cohort-based educative initiative, i.e. research sprints for participants and partners around the globe. While I still continue to work on making it better based on feedback, my role was to collect content from the research sprint team, edit, compile, and synthesize the information to put it together as a guidebook. This guidebook aims to help both in-house staff and partners of BKC to be orientated about what a research sprint is like and what it takes to host one.
For my teaching-learning lab Practicum project at the Harvard Graduation School of Education, I built a micro-credential that was awarded to students after the completion of the module. Two Instructional design components that I emphasized on were; developing the assessment criteria and representating media. You can learn more about my thought map for this project here.
User experience and feedback
I led a student project for the Teaching Learning Lab at the Harvard Graduation School of Education. Our project aimed to create actionable insights to improve the online learning experience specifically for the problem of practice assignment based user feedback. We did so by hosting focus groups with the participants of HPL (How people learn, a summer course for incoming HGSE students that has over 700 participants).
I can provide our report on request.
Eco-detectives is an interactive course prototype I built in Articulate 360. The course aims to introduce kids to the concept of carbon footprint. My focus of the course was to make learning, fun, easy yet impactful. I started all three sections with a generative question followed by subject matter information, interactive quizzes, and images.
The intricacies of Group projects
A couple of my projects have been on not just designing group learning projects but also understanding what goes into designing experiences for group projects to thrive.
