Salmira25 (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Umrah Companion mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
2. Information We Collect
Umrah Companion collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
• Account information — when you create an account, we collect your name and email address
• Location data — used solely to provide prayer times and Qibla direction. This is processed on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers
• Purchase information — if you unlock Premium, your payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment or card details
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
• Provide and maintain the app’s features
• Allow you to log in to your account
• Deliver location-based features (prayer times, Qibla)
4. Data Storage
All app data — including your journey progress, checklist, dua journal, and trip planner — is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
5. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:
• Google Play Billing — for processing Premium purchases
• Google Maps — for Makkah and Madinah maps
6. Children’s Privacy
Umrah Companion does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
