The Bangladesh University of Professionals is a public university in Bangladesh, located in Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka. It is the University of Bangladesh affiliated with University Grant Commission. It was established under the Bangladesh University of Professionals Act, 2009.The main purpose for the establishment of BUP, was to unify all the educational institutions of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, under one university administered by the Armed Forces.BUP is a military-administered institution, it is also a public university. So, anyone can study in the university following the admission test. Currently, almost all the institutions of the Bangladesh Armed Forces are affiliated with BUP.    

BAF Shaheen College Dhaka (BAFSD), commonly known as Dhaka Shaheen, is a co-educational institution in Bangladesh, catering to students from **Kindergarten to Grade XII**. The college was established and is managed by the Bangladesh Air Force, initially designed to primarily serve the educational needs of children of Air Force personnel. However, the college is also open to children of civilians, allowing students from diverse backgrounds to study there.The institution emphasizes academic excellence, discipline, and the values upheld by the Bangladesh Air Force. Over time, BAF Shaheen College Dhaka has gained a strong reputation for quality education and has become one of the leading schools in the country.
