Conclusion

My question was “Does color affect readability?” My results showed that people could read words in black faster than they could read words with words in colored ink. This supports my hypothesis which is that color does affect readability, and that the words in black will be easier to read than the words in color therefore reading in black is faster. I think my results turned out like this because everyone’s brain is more trained to read in the color black rather than in color. This information can be used by people who want to read faster and want to know what color to read in. Some things I can change for further studies is a bigger sample size and more words to read. Future studies could compare how many words they can read in a minute in both black and color.
