Salix is the genus of willow. My grandparents must have known my path to be a healing one, as they planted a weeping willow (Salix babylonica) in honor of my birth. Salix healed me in multiple ways. She was my playhouse, my hiding place, a space for dreams to inspire me and awaken me to my true essence.

Rosa is the genus of rose. Of all my ancestral lineage, I feel the most connected to Sud Italia - Rosa, Castrucci, Iola. My great-great grandmother Francesca is a constant guide, as I learn from her healer and Strega ways. The name Rosa honors the path of the healers, gardeners, and witches that have all walked before me.
