CONSERVATION DAY DATES
These are days where we focus on one specific conservation related topic or theme and educate the public about it. We want these to be a docent-run programs and are hoping to have docent participation for all of the dates listed below. Part of our goal is to raise money with these events and actually some of the conservation programs do require a monetary donation. So fundraising ideas are welcome as well as fun games, crafts and whatever any docent can come up with to help with these celebrations.
Owl Awareness Day on August 1st (Cara & Karen)
World Primate Day on August 29th
National Bison Day on November 17th (Guy)
