I am passionate about making lingusitics accessible to everyone. I enjoy presenting to all audiences about lingusitic research. I especially enjoy working with A-Level students and teachers to bring more sociolingusitics into the classroom
I have worked on the York English Langauge Toolkit for several years. This has included developing classroom materials based on work from scholars within the department. I was also able to deliver a talk on my own research at the 2025 Toolkit.
As part of the promotion for the York English Language Toolkit, I was part of the Lexis Podcast
"York English Language Toolkit preview 2025", Episode 73, Lexis podcast, https://open.spotify.com/episode/1G5go7kTfe7KZA6LGY5lGZ
I participated in a webinar on Social and Occupational groups by presenting a talk titled "The mixing of identity: how gender, sexuality, and football interact"
I have also written for the Emagazine for A-level students
