My name is Salina Cuddy (she/her) and I am an early career researcher interested in language and identity and in particular gender, sexuality, and sport. I have collected both production data and perception data, giving me experience in different variationist methodologies. To see a list of my publications please refer to the Research page.

I have taught extensively at several Russell Group Universities in the UK, with a particular focus on sociolinguistic teaching. You can see a full list of modules I have taught under the Teaching page.

I recently became the Secretary for the BAAL Language, Gender and Sexuality Special Interest Group.

I am currently the Media Recruitment Manager for CURLEW and an Associate Lecturer in Problem-Based Learning at the University of York.
