"I believe clothing should move with you, not against you. My design approach blends function, comfort, and story; creating garments that adapt to extreme outdoor environments and unpredictable conditions while still feeling personal and wearable. Wether your'e hiking through the woods, camping, or even taking a walk to the gas station" - Salif Sangare
"I see clothing as a form of confidence; it reflects who you are and supports what you’re doing. Customizability isn’t just about style; it promotes sustainability and gives people the freedom to make a garment truly their own." - Salif Sangare
I’m an apparel designer from the Bronx who studies Studio Art, Film Studies, and Sociology at Grinnell College. I blend utility with style, and storytelling, drawing inspiration from the natural environments that surround us, experiences, and the emotions we feel.
I’ve developed modular designs, full tech packs, and hands-on concepts through personal projects and internships. Right now, I’m expanding my portfolio with outerwear and performance-based pieces while looking for new opportunities to grow and contribute in the industry.
