Privacy Policy – Salesforce User Cloner

Salesforce User Cloner is a Chrome extension designed to help Salesforce administrators create and configure Salesforce users by copying selected fields and access assignments from an existing Salesforce user.
Information the extension accesses
The extension may access:
• The URL of the Salesforce page currently open in Chrome
• The Salesforce authentication session cookie for the active Salesforce organization
• Salesforce User record information, including names, usernames, email addresses, profile, role, and other User fields
• Permission Set assignments
• Permission Set Group assignments
• Permission Set License assignments
• Public Group memberships
• Queue memberships
How this information is used
This information is used only to provide the extension's Salesforce user-cloning functionality.
The Salesforce authentication session is used to authenticate API requests directly between the extension and the Salesforce organization currently open in the user's browser.
Data storage and transmission
Salesforce session tokens and Salesforce data are not transmitted to, collected by, or stored on an external server operated by Salesforce User Cloner.
Salesforce information is processed locally within the Chrome extension and communicated directly with Salesforce over HTTPS.
Temporary extension state may be stored using Chrome browser storage while the extension is in use.
Data sharing
Salesforce User Cloner does not sell, rent, share, or transfer Salesforce data or authentication information to third parties.
Data is not used for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness decisions, or unrelated purposes.
Authentication information
The extension accesses the Salesforce session cookie solely so users do not need to provide their Salesforce password or configure a separate login.
The Salesforce session token is used only for requests to the user's Salesforce organization.
User permissions
Salesforce User Cloner does not bypass Salesforce security.
All actions performed by the extension are subject to the permissions of the Salesforce user currently logged in.
Personal Groups
Personal Groups are not cloned because Salesforce Personal Groups are private to their owner.
