Where and when do you meet?
We gather where we are welcomed. In our present season with our sister Church we use their space. If the Lord moves us, we move freely because we are not rooted in a building but rather are the church.
What are the gatherings like?
Our gatherings feel like family.
We begin with unhurried fellowship—coffee, pastries, and shared life as people arrive.
We enter a time of simple, intentional worship unto the Lord.
We share a potluck meal together; those who are able bring something to contribute.
Fellowship, prayer, and conversation continue naturally.
There is no set “dismissal time”—it is a home, after all.
What about my kids?
Children are welcome and loved.
Kids stay with their parents in the assembly; we do not separate families or send children to “children’s church.” We are a covenantal community, and that means the whole family worships together.
What do you mean by “Organic Church”?
We avoid the term house church because it has taken on unhelpful meanings in recent years.
By organic, we mean a church shaped by the priesthood of all believers, shared life, and the natural rhythms of the body—without abandoning pure doctrine or biblical order.
Are you a 501(c)(3)?
The Salem Gathering is a developing church plant sent out and supported by 2540 Ministries. We are not formally registered as a church with the state, but our ministry is fully covered under 2540 Ministries, where all giving is tax‑deductible.
