Salatook is a prayer and Adhan app designed to help users follow prayer times, receive Adhan alerts, find the Qibla direction, discover nearby mosques, view the Hijri date, and access daily adhkar and spiritual content.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Salatook uses, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Salatook may request access to your device location to provide core app features, including:
calculating accurate prayer times based on your current location;
showing the Qibla direction;
finding nearby mosques;
displaying your city or approximate area inside the app.
Location access is requested only with your permission. Salatook uses “When In Use” location permission and does not request background or always-on location access.
Salatook does not sell your location data and does not use it for advertising or tracking.
Salatook may request notification permission so it can send:
prayer time alerts;
Adhan notifications;
pre-prayer reminders;
adhkar reminders, if enabled.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device where possible. You can disable notifications at any time from the app settings or your device settings.
Salatook may store settings locally on your device, such as:
selected language;
selected appearance mode;
prayer calculation method;
Adhan sound preferences;
enabled or disabled prayer alerts;
Hijri date adjustment;
adhkar progress.
These settings are used only to personalize your experience inside the app.
Salatook includes local religious content such as adhkar, duas, and daily hadith. The app may store your local progress, such as completed adhkar counters, on your device.
We use the information described above to:
calculate and display prayer times;
show the next prayer countdown;
send Adhan and prayer reminders;
show Qibla direction;
display nearby mosques;
personalize language and appearance;
save your app preferences;
improve the usability of local features.
Salatook may use Apple system services such as:
Core Location, to obtain your location with permission;
User Notifications, to schedule alerts;
MapKit / Apple Maps, to show maps, nearby mosques, or directions.
When you use map-based features, Apple services may process map or location-related information as necessary to provide those features. Your use of Apple services may be subject to Apple’s own privacy practices and terms.
Salatook does not currently use advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
Salatook does not sell your personal data.
Salatook does not share your personal data with advertisers.
Salatook does not use your data for tracking.
We may disclose information only if required by law or to comply with a valid legal obligation.
Most app data is stored locally on your device.
This may include:
app settings;
selected language and appearance;
prayer and Adhan preferences;
adhkar progress;
locally cached display information.
You can remove locally stored data by deleting the app from your device.
You can control permissions and settings at any time:
Location access can be changed in iPhone Settings.
Notification permission can be changed in iPhone Settings.
Language and appearance can be changed inside the app.
Prayer calculation and Adhan settings can be adjusted inside the app.
If you disable location access, some features such as accurate prayer times, Qibla direction, and nearby mosques may not work properly.
If you disable notifications, Salatook will not be able to send Adhan or prayer alerts.
Salatook is a general-purpose prayer utility app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include account registration or social features.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the app experience. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the effective date above. Continued use of Salatook after changes means you accept the updated policy.
