1. Introduction SalahLock ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application. By using SalahLock, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information Collection and Use SalahLock is designed to maximize your privacy. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store your personal data on our servers.
Location Data: The iOS application utilizes Apple CoreLocation strictly on-device to calculate precise prayer timings and Qibla direction. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on external servers.
Push Notifications: Prayer alerts are scheduled strictly as local notifications via the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and do not track user interaction remotely.
In-App Purchases: Premium features are processed securely through Apple StoreKit. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or Apple ID payment information.
3. Third-Party Services The app interfaces with specific third-party APIs to provide core functionality. These services only process the minimum data required to fulfill your direct requests:
Aladhan: Used to fetch accurate prayer times based on your local device coordinates.
Alquran.cloud: Used to retrieve daily Ayahs and translations.
Google Gemini (Sheikh-GPT): If you utilize the Sheikh-GPT AI assistant, your specific chat queries are processed securely through the Google Gemini API to generate responses.
4. Data Retention and Deletion Because SalahLock does not collect or store personal data on remote servers, all your settings, preferences, and chat histories are stored locally on your device. You can permanently delete this data at any time by simply uninstalling the application.
5. Children's Privacy Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
