Dr. Salah-ddine Krit is a Full Professor of Computer Science at Ibnou Zohr University in Agadir, Morocco. He currently serves as the Chief of the Department of Informatics (2022-2026), building on his leadership roles in the university, including serving as Director of the Laboratory of Systems, Information, and Electronics (Lab.SIE) from 2018 to 2022 and as Chief of the Department of MIG from 2015 to 2020.
Dr. Krit's academic journey is distinguished by two Ph.D. degrees in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Software Engineering. He earned his first Ph.D. in 2004 from FSDM University in Fez, Morocco, and later obtained a second Ph.D. in 2010 in the same fields, focusing on advanced software engineering and system design.
Before his academic career, Dr. Krit held a pivotal role as a Team Leader in ICT and Hardware Engineering. His work in the area of audio and power management Integrated Circuits (ICs) encompassed research, design verification, simulation, and layout for analog and digital blocks, primarily dedicated to mobile phone and satellite communication systems. He utilized cutting-edge tools and technologies, including Cadence, Eldo, Orcad, and VHDL-AMS, to ensure the highest standards of design and functionality. His technical expertise extends to managing Windows Server environments, where he was responsible for deploying and administering Active Directory objects, DHCP settings, and Windows Server Group Policies. Additionally, he collaborated with top-tier companies such as Texas Instruments (USA), Atmel, On Semiconductor, Freescale (France), and Lactals (Canada), further enhancing his global industry experience.
In addition to his academic and technical career, Dr. Krit is also skilled in trading, leveraging analytical and strategic decision-making to navigate financial markets. His experience in trading complements his technical expertise, showcasing his versatile skill set and ability to thrive in both technological and financial sectors.
