If a user chooses to sign in using Google or Email/Password, we collect and store user data through Firebase:
User name
Email address
Google profile photo (if available)
Authentication tokens (Firebase default)
Cloud backup of prayer tracking data (optional)
If the user does not sign in, no personal data is uploaded to Firebase — all data stays locally on the device.
The app may locally store:
Prayer status (Prayed, Missed, On Time, Late, Jama’ah)
Calendar dates
Selected language and theme
Alarm settings for each prayer
Permission states (notifications, location, draw-over-apps)
This data is stored:
Locally on the device, OR
Synced to Firebase Cloud only if user is logged in.
We may collect limited technical information such as:
Device model
Android/iOS version
App version
Crash logs
General usage events (e.g., screen views)
This information does NOT include personal identity unless manually provided.
If location is enabled for accurate prayer times:
Approximate device location may be collected
Used only to calculate prayer times
Not stored permanently
Not sold or shared with any third party
The app does not use or store precise GPS unless required by your device.
The app may request:

Daily reminders
Important app events
If enabled, used for:
Showing prayer reminders over the screen
Displaying alarm popups while other apps are open
Used to schedule:
Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha alarms
Custom reminders

Backup and restore
Analytics and crash reporting

Storing prayer history
Saving user preferences/settings
We only use permissions when needed for features the user enables.

Show accurate prayer times based on location
Send alarms & notifications

We do not use your information for ads or profiling.
The app uses the following Firebase services:

Firebase may automatically collect basic device information.

Local data is stored in secured device storage (local database).
Cloud data is stored in Firebase with secure encryption.
We do not store passwords — handled securely by Firebase.
You can delete your account and cloud data anytime.
Uninstalling the app deletes all local data automatically.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with:
Advertisers
Social networks
Third-party companies
Data is only shared with Firebase (Google), which powers core app functionality.
The app is safe for general audiences but not specifically directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Request account deletion

Disable analytics
Disable location anytime
Decline permissions without affecting core features (except those requiring permissions)
