Salah — Privacy Policy

Salah ("the app") is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

Location

The app works with manual city selection and requires no location permission. If a location-based feature is used, your coordinates are processed only on your device to compute prayer times and the qibla direction, and are never transmitted off your device or to us. We operate no server and have no account system.

On-device data

Your settings, chosen city, and prayer tracker check-ins are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. There is no cloud backup by us.

Advertising

The free version shows ads via Google AdMob, which may use an advertising identifier to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent (an EEA/UK consent prompt is shown where required). Premium users see no ads. See Google's policies for how AdMob handles data.

Analytics & diagnostics

The app may use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand aggregate usage and fix crashes. This data is not used to identify you personally and is not sold.

Children

The app is rated for everyone and is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

You can decline ads personalization via the in-app consent options, remove ads by purchasing Premium, and delete all local data by uninstalling the app.
