FEBRUARY 27TH - Your Salado Eagles fell to Katy Freeman 73-65.  Freeman jumped out to a big lead early and were able to hold on till the end.  Salado was able to cut the lead down to 3 with 45 seconds left to play in the contest, but after giving up an offensive rebound off a free throw the game was pushed out of reach.

FEBRUARY 23RD - Salado wins their first playoff game since 2021!  Your Eagles took down rival Lorena at Academy High School to advance to the Area round of the UIL State Basketball Playoffs.  Salado brings home the gold ball with a 53-40 victory, making more history!

FEBRUARY 6TH - The Salado Eagle Boys Basketball team has clinched a playoff birth for the first time in four seasons with the huge win against District Favorite Lampasas.  Your Eagles, with the help of a sold-out crowd, started off the game fast - ending up with the 74-53 victory.

JANUARY 2ND - In the district opener your Eagles came out firing ending the first quarter up 18-7.  They never gave up the lead, winning the contest 64-42.  A great start to the tough district schedule.

NOVEMBER 18TH - Salado traveled back to Lago Vista, this time for their first game of the year.  They continued to do what they have been doing all summer and fall, win.  They brought home the 49-37 victory starting the regular season off the right way.

SEPTEMBER 9TH - Our boys traveled out to Lago Vista to play in their fall league and matched up with a tough Marble Falls Faith team and came out victorious 52-41.  The Eagles attempted 7 charges in the game, and were the first on the floor for loose balls countless times.  A lot of things to be proud of, but still plenty to improve on! We finished the fall 6-0, ending our preseason with a final record of 16-1

AUGUST 22ND - Proud of our basketball guys who stayed after our open gym Friday night to help get the gym set up for the Meet the Eagle's football fundraiser!  Love seeing our athletes work together and support each other - one school, one team!

JUNE 22ND - The Eagles took on three very good programs over the weekend and got to play against some different styles of basketball. Salado Basketball won the first game 53-39 after a slow start against Bosqueville.  The second day included matchups against Pollok Central and Palmer where to Eagles continued to find ways to win.

JUNE 16TH - Over the last four weeks the Salado Boys Basketball team has competed in the HOT Hoops summer league and got better every week.  The Eagles finished the league with a 7-1 record and are gearing up for the TABC Showcase at Mansfield Fieldhouse.  Salado must continue to sharpen the sword in terms of effort, volume, and physicality this summer.
