LOCATION: With permission, device location is used for prayer times, Qibla and nearby mosques. You can enter a city instead. Selected coordinates, city and time zone are stored locally. Mosque searches send coordinates to OpenStreetMap-based Overpass or Nominatim services. Map servers receive IP addresses and request information. Android geocoding uses your device provider. Opening directions shares a destination with Google Maps.
LOCAL DATA: Prayer settings, reminders, bookmarks, reading progress, audio preferences, selected apps and Focus schedules are stored on your device. Clear app data or uninstall to remove local information. Device backup settings may affect backups. The app requires no account.
ADS AND ANALYTICS: The app uses Google AdMob banner and app-open ads and Firebase Analytics. Google and partners may process advertising and app-instance identifiers, IP addresses, device and app information, usage events, ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Personalization depends on applicable consent and settings. Android offers advertising-ID controls. Google applies its own retention rules. ONLINE AUDIO: MP3Quran provides Quran audio and reciter information and receives technical requests, including IP addresses. Providers apply their own policies. We do not operate an app account system or sell personal information ourselves.
OPTIONAL FOCUS MODE: Android Accessibility Service detects the displayed app package name to show a blocking overlay for apps you select during reading. It does not retrieve screen text, passwords, messages or view hierarchy. Selected packages and schedules remain on your device and are not transmitted by this feature. End a session in the overlay or disable the service in Android Accessibility settings.
CHOICES AND RETENTION: Revoke location and notification permissions in Android settings, change reminders in the app and disable Focus mode. Some features require permissions. Local preferences remain until cleared or app data is removed. Providers retain information under their own policies. Contact us for privacy questions or requests concerning data under our control; third-party requests may need to go to those providers.
