The concept of the Little Free Library is similar to that of public libraries in that they are open to everyone and they don't cost. Come grab a book for free, any time you'd like. If you have some extra books you're looking for new homes for, leave a book. Some public libraries have fees for returning books after the due date. LFL books don't have due dates! and you don't even have to return them ever. You can if you like but feel free to keep your treasure as long as your heart desires. If you choose to pass on the book in the future you can return it to the library where you found it, take it to a new library, give it to a friend, or any other option you might think of to continue sharing of the book. 

There may be a LFL near your home! Check out the map to find libraries all over. Forgot your book at home when you went on a trip? I bet there's a library near your vacation spot to tide you over until you return home.
