Orchestrate the design of products and custom mechanical components, using Autodesk Fusion 360, for 3D computer-aided design, manufacturing, and engineering on a cloud-based platform. Program machines using G-codes and Computer Numerical Control (CNC). CNC translates CAD designs into numerical coordinates which instructs machines in which actions to perform.
Product Manufacturing: Guided the effective manufacture of products by determining spindle speed and feed rate for CNC machines based on material hardness, tool diameter, and surface speed.
Work Coordinate System Adoption: Transition the team from legacy job setup machine coordinate processing to Work Coordinate Systems (WCS) which simplifies rest machining and the encoding of several cutting operations in a single instruction file.
Preventative Maintenance: Head the preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment including tool and component replacement and deterioration and obsolesce tracking.
Spearheaded the creation of new techniques to engineer porous polylactide-Nano alumina composites using microwave foaming and quality control measures. Manufactured tools and fixtures that allowed mimicking of the functionality of tissue and organs with solid state foaming polymer samples. Utilized standard electron microscopes, atomic force microscopes, and Instron test equipment to visualize and evaluate the mechanical properties of tissue polymers.
★ Identify, describe and evaluate the properties of fiber reinforcements, polymer matrix materials, and commercial composites
★ Develop competency in one or more common composite manufacturing techniques, and be able to select the appropriate technique for the manufacture of fiber-reinforced composite products.
★ Analyze the elastic properties and simulate the mechanical performance of composite laminates, and understand and predict the failure behavior of fiber-reinforced composites
★ Apply knowledge of composite mechanical performance and manufacturing methods to a composites design project
★ Critique and synthesize literature and apply the knowledge gained from the course in the design and application of fiber-reinforced composites.
During my Master's Carried out Design and analysis on Baja Bugy. Modal Analysis is done by adding the Stainless-Steel material and analysis is carried out in different modes to interpret the results. I realized that sides (Left, right) and top part of the driver’s location are stressed. It has 5 degrees of freedom X, Y and rotational movements X, Y and Z axis. Front and bottom parts are seemed to be stiff but tends to be stressed out on the sides of the Baja Buggy.
On top part above the drivers location, the sides of the rods seems to be more stressed
On top part above the drivers location, all the walls of the rods seems to be more stressed
On the Side view, Left Side of the rod seems to be stressed.
