My master's thesis regards the use of translanguaging within eikaiwa contexts to examine the effects it has on young learners. I hope that my research can help shed light and deepen our understanding of translanguaging within Japanese contexts. I will become a junior high school English teacher next spring, and hopefully be able to pursue a Doctorate while conducting research within the public junior high school.

My research interest is the effect and impact of feedback on students and motivation. To identify whether feedback in L1 or L2 is more effective and how that affects the student's learning motivation is my current goal. I have a dream to pursue a Doctorate degree and intend to become a teacher in junior high school or university in the future.
