1. Medical and Religious Disclaimer

Not Medical Advice: Sakinly is a spiritual reflection tool and does not provide medical or psychological advice. It is not a substitute for professional healthcare. If you are in distress, please contact emergency services or a mental health professional immediately. Religious Content: We strive for accuracy in our Islamic content (du‘ā’ and reflections), but we recommend consulting qualified scholars for formal religious rulings (fatwa).

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a better experience and support your account:

• Account Data: Email and User ID collected via Apple Sign In or Google Sign In and managed securely via Supabase.

• User Content: Mood logs, reflections, journaling entries, and Dhikr/Tasbih progress stored securely in our database.

• Purchase Data: Managed via RevenueCat to verify premium status and subscription history.

• Device Identifiers: Used by AdMob for advertising, analytics, and performance metrics.

• Prayer City Preference: If you use prayer times, you choose a city from our list. We store this choice on your device to display prayer times. We do not use GPS or track your location.

• Error and Crash Reports: We use Sentry to help us fix bugs. This includes technical diagnostic data (error messages, device model, and OS version). This data is used solely for app functionality and is not linked to your identity.

• Product Interaction: We track local app milestones (such as a 7-day mood log streak) to provide feature suggestions, such as the option to leave an in-app review.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to provide app functionality:

• Supabase: Secure authentication and database storage.

• RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management.

• Google AdMob: To display advertisements.

• Sentry: Crash and error reporting; technical diagnostic data only.

4. GDPR (European User Rights)

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct, port, or erase your personal data. Our legal basis for processing is contractual necessity (account & subscriptions) and your consent for advertising.

5. CCPA/CPRA (California User Rights)

California residents have the right to know what personal data is collected and request deletion. We do not sell your data, but device identifiers are shared with AdMob for advertising purposes. You can opt out via iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) settings.

6. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Settings menu in the app or by emailing us at sakinlymood@gmail.com.
