I'm a junior studying finance at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. Currently, I'm working on developing my financial portfolio. My interest in finance grew when I attended a seminar at NYU during my junior year of high school.
This interest prompted me to expand my skillset through a variety of ways. Recently, I interned at the Mercer County NJ Finance Department where I worked on auditing. I developed new tactics to increase efficiency while maintaining accuracy to streamline the process.
Following that, I began a course in Data Analytics provided by Google. I developed an additional skillset which includes SQL, Tableau, and R programming language. I've included a case study I performed at the end of the program using those skills.
Prior to these opportunities, I had the chance to serve in Student Government at The College of New Jersey (I spent my 1st year here). We worked primarily to develop bills that addressed student concerns. Most recently, we produced a bill to allow student meal plan funds to be diverted to restaurants in the student center and independent areas.
