Sajid Wazir Teaching Assistant at NTUST specializing in AI-driven Mixed Reality systems for safety-critical infrastructure. His research investigates how computer vision models, particularly YOLO-based detection frameworks, can be integrated with BIM and MR interfaces to develop intelligent inspection copilots for fire safety applications.
His work emphasizes offline-capable, scalable architectures that enhance inspection traceability, compliance verification, and collaborative decision-making. By combining digital twin modeling, real-time detection, and immersive visualization, He aim to advance the next generation of smart construction safety systems.
With both academic and industry experience, He has worked on XR-based inspection workflows, Web-XR virtual tours, and AR/VR implementation for construction visualization and safety documentation. Goal is to bridge the gap between digital engineering research and practical field deployment by designing systems that are technically robust, scalable, and impactful.Â
