I am a clinically trained audiologist and Ph.D. candidate at The University of Texas at Austin. I earned my undergraduate degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology in Nepal from Tribhuvan University and completed a master’s degree in Audiology at the University of Mysore, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing. My doctoral work focuses on the neurophysiological mechanisms of extended high-frequency hearing and their implications for speech perception. I also have a strong research interest in understanding the mechanisms underlying sound sensitivity disorders. In addition, I have three years of clinical experience as an audiologist in Nepal, working across hospital and private clinic settings.
