I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Research at Virginia Tech, in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

My research interest is Theoretical Reinforcement Learning, mainly convergence analysis of Policy space methods in RL. 

Before joining Virginia Tech, ​I received my PhD in the area of Operations Research from the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023. My PhD program was advised by Prof. Siva Theja Maguluri. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics (double major) from Sharif University of Technology.
