US Congressional Election Results (1920-1974)
Description: This dataset provides cleaned and structured election results for U.S. House and Senate races from 1920 to 1974. The data were compiled from the official publication Election Statistics: 1920 to Present, maintained and published by the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives. This dataset complements the 1976-2022 congressional election data maintained by MIT Election Lab. Please report any errors/issues to the Github page.
US Congressional Bill Information: 1973-2024 (93rd - 118th)
Description: This dataset includes all bills that reached floor consideration or later stages in the U.S. Congress from the 93rd Congress (1973–1974) through the 118th Congress (2023–2024). For each bill, the dataset provides detailed information including the title, sponsor, policy area, assigned committees, full list of cosponsors, subject terms, and related legislation. All data are sourced from the official website of the U.S. Congress.
