A fond farewell to the '24-25 WBS year!
Dear Sisters in Christ,
As August comes to a close, so does our 2024–2025 year of Women’s Bible Study. What a beautiful and Spirit-filled journey it has been! With 105 women gathering in prayer, fellowship, and study, we’ve witnessed God’s grace at work in powerful ways. Thank you for being part of it!
If you won’t be joining us this coming year, please know you remain in our prayers, and if things change for you, you are always welcome back!
If you haven't yet registered but are interested, there's still time--please see below!
And for those returning, we’re so excited to begin a new season of growing in God’s Word together--details for the new year will come soon in an email from me--but just so you know, we will start up on Thursday, September 18th with our AM and PM welcome events.
As always, you're all in my prayers as I ask our Lord to bless this ministry and the women in it, our parish of Saint Agnes, and all our efforts to grow closer to Jesus and share His Good News with others.
With love and blessings,
Michelle

What is a "Dry Mass"?
On the morning of Saturday, September 20th, the parish is hosting a Liturgical Symposium, part of which will be a "dry Mass"--where Fr. Bellopede will walk us through the Mass (without a consecration), explaining why we do what we do. For those who did the Mass study with Dr. Sri a couple years ago, this should be particularly interesting, but certainly there will be something for everyone! Find out about other parish ministries, too!

Anima Christi Women's Retreat at the Malvern Retreat House
I was able to attend this retreat last Fall, and let me tell you, it was a transformingexperience! This popular women's retreat had to be canceled last spring, but it's back for this Fall! Save the dates: October 3-5.
Their email announcement notes that registration will open around mid-August, and it will sell out quickly. If interested, the best way to find out when registration opens is by subscribing to the Anima Christi email list: Anima Christi Retreats.
Video: "The Real Presence: The Mass"
As a bonus of subscribing to the Anima Christi Retreats, subscribers received a link to this wonderful short video on the real presence of the Eucharist at Mass. It's visually wonderful, free, and easy to share! :-)
Genesis Mission
If you get the newsletter from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Office of the New Evangelization (you can sign up HERE!), you'll know that the Archdiocese is bringing Genesis Mission, an evangelization apostolate that teaches a practical methodology for sharing your faith in person-to-person interactions with others, to Philly. They have two events this summer that look fantastic:
Introduction to Genesis Mission: A Practical, ‘How to’ Workshop on Person-to-Person Evangelizing on Saturday, August 9
Mission Made Possible: Practical Tools for Sharing Your Faith with Others on Sunday, August 10
Click HERE for more info on these events and others, like more opportunities to take the "Go, Make Disciples!" workshop--I can attest to how amazing the "GMD!" workshop is!
