Shuvendu Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) at the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, West Bengal. He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Swami Vivekananda University in 2018 and his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from MAKAUT in 2021. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, West Bengal, under the guidance of Dr. Sainik Kumar Mahata. He has 4 years of teaching experience. His research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP. His research focuses on the prediction of various disease conditions using multimodal features.
Madhurima Banerjee did her Masters in Computer and Information Science from Rajabazar Science College under University of Calcutta. After pursuing a brief corporate career, she is now working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Bachelors of Computer Application in The Heritage Academy, Kolkata for past 15 years. She is pursuing her Ph.D. from the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, under the guidance of Dr. Sainik Kumar Mahata. Her areas of research are Recommendation Systems and NLP.
Dipanjan Saha received his B.E. in CST from Bengal Engineering and Science University (now IIEST), Shibpur, in 2013, and his M.E. in CSE from Jadavpur University in 2018. He worked as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) from 2013 to 2015 in Hyderabad. He later served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE at Adamas University in 2019 and at JIS College of Engineering from 2022 to 2023. He has qualified for the WB-SET and the UGC-NET with JRF. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. (2024) at Jadavpur University, India, under the supervision of Dr. Dipankar Das (JU, Kolkata, India) and co-supervision of Dr. Sainik Kumar Mahata (IEM, Kolkata, India). His doctoral research focuses on Tailoring Speech-to-Speech Translation and Summarization Systems for Speech Therapy: A Focus on Disfluency and Emotion. His research interests include Speech Processing, Speech Emotion Recognition, Speech-to-Speech Translation, and Speech Summarization within the domain of Natural Language Processing (NLP).Â
