Bio

Dr. Saima Bashir is a Professor of Business Administration in the College of Business at Central State University. She teaches Agribusiness, Business Quantitative, and Economics courses. Her research focuses on agriculture economics, entrepreneurship, higher education, poverty, and regional growth and development. Her work is published in peer-reviewed journals such as Applied Economics, Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship, American Journal of Economics, The Review of Regional Studies, and The IUP Journal of Entrepreneurship Development, among others.  Dr. Bashir is also involved in grant writing. She successfully secured some grants as project director i.e. Marauder Agricultural Scholarship Program (MASP), Outreach Education and Technical Assistance (OETA), and the  Technical Assistance for Finance Education (TAFE). She is the faculty advisor of Delta Mu Delta, an International Honor Society in Business, and co-advisor of ENACTUS and Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resource and Related Sciences (MANRRS).
