Vishal Gaur is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Department of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. Mahamad Nabab Alam
He obtained his B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology Kolkata in 2010, M.Tech degree in Water Resources Development (interdisciplinary) from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2012 and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2018. His research interests are Protection coordination, Networked microgrids, Artificial Intelligence Techniques, and Numerical and metaheuristic optimization techniques.
