My field of research is theoretical condensed matter physics with a strong emphasis on analytical methods for quantum magnetism as well as many-body topological systems. I have extensive experience with different types of quantum many problems, developing model Hamiltonian, and making testable experimental predictions that span across materials such as CrX3 (X = Cl, Br, I), α-RuCl3, high-Temperature superconductors, heavy fermion compounds such as SmB6, and many more.
The overall topics that span my research portfolio are spin-orbit coupled Mott insulators, quantum spin liquids, high-Tc cuprates, multiferroics, Dirac materials, topological heavy fermions, charge-density-waves, and different types of dynamic order such as odd-frequency superconductivity, and magnetism. My research is targeted towards spintronics and topological properties relevant for quantum computations.

Geometry and Topology in Condensed Matter Physics
After my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in India, I did my PhD in Nordita, Stockholm. During my PhD, I explored the role of weak correlation in Dirac materials. After this, I joined University of Augsburg, Germany as a postdoctoral candidate and worked on the underdoped regime of cuprates superconductors. This followed two short terms postdoctoral positions in Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico, and Rutgers University, New Jersey. During these periods until now, I have been exploring various emergent phases and functionalities in strongly correlated materials.
