Participated in a 2024 research expedition aboard the R/V Sally Ride to recover 53 broadband ocean-bottom seismometers deployed around the Galápagos. The experiment investigates interactions among the Galápagos mantle plume, spreading centers, oceanic lithosphere, and regional volcanism. I also supported multibeam, gravity, and magnetic data workflows and gained experience in marine instrumentation and multidisciplinary cruise operations.
Participated in a 2023 research cruise aboard the R/V Thomas G. Thompson supporting GNSS-A deployments and offshore geodetic operations near the Cascadia subduction zone. The experiment seeks to improve measurements of near-trench deformation, where land-based networks provide limited resolution. This experience introduced me to seafloor geodesy and helped motivate my current work with offshore optical fiber strainmeters and slow-slip processes.
