Product Background

LockApps is a new apps locking application, which offers three levels of protection. It has following advantages over other existing similar applications:

• Three levels of protections are offered to increase the usability of the system in the form of Pattern, PIN, and VAP code for low-, medium-, and high-level of security, respectively.
• Herein, VAP code is our proposed authentication scheme, which has the resilience against the three most prominent attacks on smart devices, namely i) shoulder surfing, ii) smudge, and iii) brute-force. It comprises of:
  • Vibration Code (VC), where existing vibrations of the smart devices are transformed into a code;
  • a modified Pattern Lock (PL) technique.
