Research Interests
I am currently working on optimal sizing of assets in renewable energy communities considering PV, battery storage and demand flexibility of the users. The objective is to include the effect of the energy management system in the sizing layer to prevent the oversizing of renewable assets and save costs for the user. I am specifically interested in the following interrelated research areas:
Energy management for a network of distributed energy sources and storage
Data-driven modeling and forecasting for renewables and load
Distributed control and optimization under communication constraints
Robust control of interconnected power electronic converters via hybrid disturbance estimation
Robust hybrid control algorithms for power electronic converters
