Meghan was a Music Education major while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instruments were flute and piccolo. SAI brought her some of her best friends that are still part of her life today, and gave her a way to connect with others through music! Since graduating, she has started her own business teaching music to young kids and their grown-ups!
Camryn was a History and Anthropology double major with a Public History, Civil War Era Studies, and Classic triple minor while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was voice. She loved serving as Vice President of Membership and welcoming new members to our chapter after teaching them about our fraternity. SAI also taught her that a shared love of music can open the door to building and maintaining connections with the people in your life! Since graduating, she is now working at Colonial Williamsburg as a Historical Interpreter in the process of creating new public programs for select buildings in the Historic Area!
Alexi was a Theater Arts and English with a Writing Concentration double major while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was trumpet. SAI gave her the opportunity to be part of an organization that combined music and community. Working on SAI projects taught her valuable leadership and communication skills which prepared her for success in the professional world! Since graduating, she currently works at a middle school as learning support where she also runs the Drama Club where she is now the Program Director!
Natalie was an Art History and Museum Studies major while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was clarinet. They enjoyed meeting other chapters, especially during Province Day. Since graduating, she has done lots of exploring and was just recently hired as an Events Coordinator and Interactor at the Whitaker Center of Science and Arts!
Lilly was a Music Education major with a Peace and Justice Studies minor while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was clarinet. SAI reminded her how impactful music is in life and helped her build some of the best friendships. It has also created instant connection for her as a music educator with other SAI Alumnae in her county! Since graduating, she has been teaching Pre-K-5 grade general music and 4/5 grade Chorus in Frederick County, Maryland!
Jocie was an Environmental Studies major with a Biology minor while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was voice. SAI gave her a space to share her love of music with people in the Conservatory that she may not have met otherwise. Since graduating, she has been travelling and trying to pursue a career as a field biologist!
Greer was a History and Music double major with a French minor while at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was piano. She loved the car rides to Province Day and learned a lot about organizing events/activities, communicating, and working with others. Since graduating, she spent the summer working for the Appalachian Mountain Club in New Hampshire as crew in a backcountry hut and is now working as a teaching assistant in France.
JJ was a Music Performance major during their time at Gettysburg College. Their primary instrument was violin. SAI gave them a close community with people they wouldn't have crossed paths with otherwise. Additionally, they learned many skills from SAI that will be helpful for them as a future teacher! They are currently getting their Masters of Music Education from Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA and hope to stay in the Boston area.
Kelsey was a Music major and a Sociology, Writing, and Education triple minor during her time at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was flute. SAI opened her up to a community that cared about music and service through music. She is currently getting a Masters of Education at Lehigh University!
Molly was a Health Sciences major with a minor in Neuroscience during her time at Gettysburg College. Her primary instrument was clarinet. She enjoyed the weekly brunches after chapter and chatting with other members. Since graduating, she has started a Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Vermont to become Family Nurse Practitioner.
