Saidat Yusuff is a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Mathematics at Auburn University. My research interests include optimization, numerical analysis, nonlinear systems of equations, and topological photonic crystals. I am particularly interested in developing mathematical and computational methods that address challenging problems in scientific computing, photonics, and engineering.
In addition to my research, I am passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic community through leadership, professional service and outreach. Through my research and professional activities, I seek to advance mathematical knowledge while supporting student success and scientific innovation.
