What is SAI?

Sigma Alpha Iota is a Greek music fraternity for women and non-binary individuals!

Founded in Ann Arbor, Michigan on April 12, 1903, SAI has provided the vital foundations to support and unite individuals passionate about music and the arts for over a century. 

SAI has seven founders: Nora Crane Hunt, Georgina Potts, Frances Caspari, Minnie Davis Sherrill, Mary Storrs Anderson, Leila H. Farlin, and Elizabeth Campbell. These outstanding women are responsible for the bonds formed within over 330 collegiate and alumnae chapters across the United States.
