About me: 

Sahil Shah is a software engineer and an academician by profession. He has graduated in Information Technology Engineering from SP Pune University, Pune (India). He earned a Masters in Computer Engineering from SP Pune University, Pune (India). He has qualified for GATE (CSE). He has received research fellowships from the Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in the past. He has successfully completed 02 research projects sponsored by SPPU, Pune. He has secured a 100% score in the NPTEL Course on "Internet of Things" with All India Rank-01 (AIR01) offered by IIT, Kharagpur. He has been recognized and awarded by Microsoft as an ambassador for AI. Apart from several research publications at National and International fronts, he also holds 01 Indian Patent to his credit.

His areas of interest include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Information Retrieval, and Web Mining. He holds professional certifications from Microsoft and Oracle in Database Management Systems, Ethical Hacking, Java Programming, Azure, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Sciences, respectively. He is actively engaged in various programming platforms like Python, R, JAVA, etc., and databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. 

He has organized and participated in various FDPs, STTPs, ISTE workshops, Conferences, Seminars, and Symposia. He has been instrumental in the design of new courses at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

He has coordinated AICTE-sponsored workshops and FDPs and is also appreciated for the best coordination and innovative teaching by IIT Bombay and Microsoft, respectively.  

In the past, he has hosted the IEEE Bombay Section Symposium (IBSS) 2016 in the capacity of organizing chair at VPKBIET, Baramati.

He has around 14+ years of teaching experience and 05 years of research experience. He is currently associated as Assistant Professor at SIG, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India.
