Teaching & Metorship
Teaching
During my PhD, I actively contributed to classroom teaching and guided students in experimental laboratory courses.
Laboratory Assistant, M.Sc. Physics (Jan 2022 – Jul 2022).
Tutorial Instructor, Atomistic Simulations in Physics (Jul 2022 – Dec 2022):
Guided students in studying material properties computationally using first-principles Density Functional Theory (DFT).
Teaching & Laboratory Assistant, B.Tech. First-Year Physics (Jan 2023 – Jul 2024).
Mentorship
My PhD supervisor, Dr. Hemant Kumar, appointed me as a project mentor for M.Sc. internship student Sambit Pratap from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. We have been working on the project “Room-Temperature Ferromagnetism and Robust Out-of-Plane Magnetic Anisotropy in MXenes for Non-Volatile MRAM Applications.” This work is currently in progress.
My PhD supervisor, Dr. Hemant Kumar, appointed me as a project mentor for M.Sc. Physics student Dipanshu Kaushik. We worked on the project “MXene Alloy-Based Metal–Semiconductor Contact for Low-Resistive Field-Effect Transistors” which has been accepted for publication in Communications Engineering (Nature).
