EDUCATION

I am a Ph.D. in Art Education from the University of Georgia. In addition, I have two masters in Art Education from the University of Arizona and Art Research from the University of Tehran and a B.F.A. in Fabrics Design from the University of Tehran.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I am an accomplished Assistant Professor of Art and Graphic Design at the University of South Carolina Lancaster. With a strong foundation in education and over a decade of teaching experience, I have established myself as a respected faculty member and lecturer at various universities in Iran and the United States. I have also served as a full-time teacher at a K-12 school in the United States, further enriching my pedagogical expertise.

In addition to my teaching roles, I have displayed exceptional administrative and leadership abilities throughout my career. I served as the Vice President of Education and Research at the University of Iran, overseeing strategic initiatives and spearheading academic development. Furthermore, I assumed responsibilities as the Graphic Area Chair and Supervisor at several private academic enterprises, including visual arts clubs in Iran, thereby contributing to the growth and advancement of the field. 

I have garnered recognition for my artistic endeavors, with numerous solo and group exhibitions showcasing my proficiency in Fabric Design and Graphic Design. Additionally, I have demonstrated a keen eye for evaluating and organizing Art Festivals and Art Exhibitions in Iran, fostering artistic expression and community engagement. Several prestigious awards and scholarships have acknowledged my remarkable contributions, underscoring my dedication and talent.

I am a passionate researcher specializing in interdisciplinary visual/media arts and science studies. My primary focus lies in identifying effective approaches t integrating visual/media arts into STEM disciplines, with the aim of enhancing students' academic achievements. Driven by a commitment to advancing knowledge, I have presented several papers at international conferences in Iran, Europe, and the United States, highlighting my expertise in the field. Furthermore, my insightful research has been published in various reputable journals, solidifying my reputation as a scholarly authority.

I embody a multifaceted professional with a remarkable skill set encompassing teaching, administration, artistic expression, and research. Through my unwavering dedication and innovative contributions, I continue to shape the academic landscape and inspire the next generation of artists and designers.
